Those interested should contact mcso.info@gmail.com for more information. YOUTH VOLUNTEERS High school volunteers can work to complete their mandatory volunteer hours within the MCSO. Students can tutor elementary school students in one our tutorial centers, sit on one of our committees, help organize special events and assist in special programming. COMMITTEES The following committees are established to facilitate the proper functioning of the organization. Committee members are an important part of the organization. Executive Committee Scholarship Committee Youth Advisory Committee (currently accepting candidates) Those interested in the Youth Advisory Committee should: be between the ages of 13-18 have a valid email address have parent's permission be available for occasional meetings (location to be confirmed, could alternate between Herongate, Bayshore, Barrhaven) be committed to reflecting the needs and wants of the youth in our committee be interested learning new skills Those interested should send an email to mcso.info@gmail.com explaining why they are interested in joining this committee.
